The highly sought after International Skilled Worker – Express Entry sub-category of the Saskatchewan province apparently closed down within a few hours of opening up on a first come first served basis. About 400 new applications were received as part of the program. It took only 3 hours for the category to reach its limit. The candidates who managed to get a permanent residence invitation from the province would get 600 CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) additional points which would in effect guarantee them an ITA (Invitation to Apply) for the purpose of Canadian permanent residence. This was the second SINP opening in this year after the first one was opened on 10th January.
